When thinking 'red lipstic', what comes to your mind? Do you find it overly dramatic, or to you see it as a somewhat 'cherry on top', to complete a look with it's va-va-voom effect?
Red lipstick is an ancient born form of self beautification by the Egyptian community, namely, Princess Cleopatra, who was said to have crushed insects such as ants and beetles, creating the perfect lip coloure of her preference. In accordance to Wikipedia,  Sumerian men and women were the first to invent and wear lipstick dating back approximately 5000 years ago, all from the method of using crushed precious stones.
